The continued effort of the government of India is to utilize, through volunteerism, the capacity and efficiency of the Indian youth in the age group of 15 to 35 years. The youth Iconstitutes 60% of the total population of India and form the basis for the development and building up of the nation. Youth being the most vibrant and resourceful segment of the country’s population, they have a vital role to play in fostering and strengthening socio-economic development.
